A Journey Through Oil and Detail

My art journey began in 2020, driven by a deep fascination with realism and a growing passion for hyperrealistic techniques. I specialize in large-scale oil paintings, where meticulous detail and bold brushstrokes converge to create lifelike depictions. Each piece aims to capture the depth and emotion of the world around me, transforming ordinary scenes into extraordinary visual experiences. As I continue to refine my craft, my goal is to push the boundaries of realism, evoking a sense of reality so vivid it feels tangible.

My work till date…

My work explores realism through large-scale oil paintings, capturing emotion and intricate detail with every brushstroke.

Feathers and fables

A peacock spreads its vibrant feathers, a crane stands quietly, while a monkey and squirrel bring a playful touch to the scene. Fruit lies scattered, adding warmth to the colors, bringing everything together in a simple yet striking way.
Each layer, each detail, required time, patience, and constant reevaluation. There were moments when I thought I should start over, erase it all, and try again. But that’s what being an artist means – embracing the struggle, trusting the process, and finding clarity
in the chaos.
In the end, it wasn’t about getting it perfect. It was about letting it evolve, watching it come together in its own time. And, Oh, I love it and I hate it at the same time 🙂

The serenity of night at Shaturnjaya (place of victory against inner enemies)

My very first oil painting on canvas! It all started with a thought to do something uncommon, yet familiar with a hint of divinity. An expression of metaphysical self, finding calmness amongst chaos.
It took almost 2 years to complete this peice of art and eventually make it to my wall (ofcourse with a lot of procrastination). Most of the parts have been remodeled atleast 5 times until it seemed to be near to perfect. Every morning I used to wake up and gaze at it with a searching for even a slightest possibility to improve or redo it. All I learn’t from it is that, studying and understaing an art form is very esstantial to absorb the detailed emotions of it and then practicing through its implementation. With the time passing, the insight of a picture becomes clearer.

The morning radiance at Shatrunjaya

The idea behind doing this piece was to have both the paintings of daylight and midnight. The shades of amber depict the brilliance of the structure, composing an expression of contentment that can mediate the contents of consciousness. The spaces shape our thoughts and our thoughts return the favour. The detailing of the domes, trees, shadows and spires express the beauty of the architectural space.
